Eamonn Draper as Frainc and Máire Hastings as Úna in a scene from the RTÉ Television production of the Irish language play 'Eagla', during filming in Studio 1 in January 1977. 'Eagla' (Irish for fear), a short half-hour play written by Liam Mac Uistin, was first broadcast by RTÉ Television on 9 February 1977. In it, two hikers terrorise a man and his wife, leading to unexpected retaliation. The play won a 1974 Oireachtais prize. The RTÉ Guide published an article about it on 4 February 1977. |
