Broadcaster Bibi Baskin (left) with Marion Fossett, during the recording of RTÉ Television's 'The Big Top', in Fossett's Circus, Tuam, County Galway on 21 June 1993. Fossett is wearing a ringmaster's outfit. This edition of the programme was broadcast on 10 July 1993. 'The Big Top' series was presented by Bibi Baskin. It featured various musical and circus acts and came from a different location each week, using Fossett's circus tent as the venue. It ran for two summer seasons in 1992 and 1993. An article on the 1993 series was published in the RTÉ Guide on 25 June 1993. |
