Irish chef Jimmy Flahive, mixing a Christmas pudding on the set of RTÉ Television's 'Home Truths', during studio filming in late 1966. He is wearing a chef's hat and smock, and is holding the mixing bowl up to the camera. A still from this shoot was used on the front cover of the RTÉ Guide of 25 November 1966. The pudding recipe was published in the same edition of the Guide. 'Home Truths' was a weekly programme featuring items on household/family matters. Flahive prepared the Christmas pudding on the programme broadcast on 23 November 1966; he had a regular cookery slot on the programme. |
