A scene from the RTÉ Television drama-documentary 'Atty Bunting', during studio filming in 1967. An unidentified actor is standing by a window in the background. He is looking at another actor sitting at a harpsichord. Atty or Edward Bunting, collected many of the traditional airs on which Thomas Moore based his melodies. 'Atty Bunting' featured dramatised episodes, film sequences and music. It was broadcast on St Patrick's Day 1967. A brief article on the programme appeared in the RTÉ Guide of 10 March 1967. |
