Irish actress Ann Rowan as Mrs Soerby, in a publicity still for the RTÉ Television production of Henrik Ibsen's play 'The Wild Duck', during filming in Studio 1 in 1968. She is in evening costume, holding an outspread fan. This production of 'The Wild Duck' was broadcast by RTÉ on 7 March 1968. It was translated from the Norwegian by Michael Meyer and adapted for television by Norman Smythe. The RTÉ Guide of 1 March 1968 published an article on the play; this still was one of several from this shoot used to illustrate that article. |
