A scene from the RTÉ Television play 'A Dog's Life', during filming in Studio 1 in November 1972. From left to right; Martin Dempsey as Guard Flanagan, Chris O'Neill as The Stranger and Michael Duffy as Sergeant Ryan. 'A Dog's Life' was written by Niall Sheridan, based on his own short story about the day-to-day life of a remote Garda station in the West of Ireland. It was broadcast on RTÉ on 15 December 1972. An article on the play appeared in the RTÉ Guide of 8 December 1972. |
