Three-quarter length portrait of broadcaster and journalist Michael Dillon, on his farm at Celbridge, County Kildare in June 1977. He is standing by the gate to a field, looking to camera. A still from this shoot was used to illustrate an RTE Guide interview with Dillon, published on 24 June 1977. In addition to presenting RTE Television's 'Mart and Market', Dillon was agriculture columnist with 'The Irish Times' newspaper. He was the brother of children's author Eilis Dillon. |
