Irish actor John Kavanagh as Sean O'Casey, in a scene from the RTÉ Television drama series 'Sean' during filming in Studio 1 in March 1980. This scene is from Episode 4, 'Coming of Age', which was broadcast on 28 December 1980. 'Sean' was a 13-part drama series based on the autobiographies of Irish writer Sean O'Casey. It was devised by Michael Voysey and written by Voysey, Neil Hartnett and Eugene McCabe. The first programme was broadcast on 7 December 1980 as part of 'The Sunday Series'. The RTÉ Guide of 5 December 1980 featured a two-page article on 'Sean'. |
