Irish singer Angela Farrell in a publicity shot for the 1971 National Song Contest, taken in RTÉ Television's Studio 1 in February of that year. She sang the winning song 'One Day Love'. The winner of the National Song Contest went on to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest. RTÉ Television broadcast the National Song Contest on 28 February 1971 with Tom McGrath producing. Full details on all of the contestants appeared in the RTÉ Guide of 26 February 1971. |
