Kevin Roche of the RTÉ Music Department, in Dublin's Gaiety Theatre during preparations for the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest, in April of that year. This was the first year RTÉ hosted Eurovision. Full details on all of that year's contestants appeared in the RTÉ Guide on 2 April 1971 - the contest was broadcast live on 3 April 1971. |
