Donal McCann as a blind Teddy Foran and Colette Proctor as Mrs Foran, in a scene from the RTÉ Television adaptation of Sean O'Casey's play 'The Silver Tassie', during filming in Studio 1 in December 1979. This production was made in association with the BBC, to mark the centenary of O'Casey's birth. It was first broadcast on RTÉ Television on 4 April 1980. The accompanying RTÉ Guide article was published on 28 March 1980. |
