From left to right; RTÉ producers John Lynch and Niall Mathews with writer Gerry Stembridge, during location filming of 'Fear of the Dark', part of the 'When Reason Sleeps' series of dramas, in Ringsend, Dublin in October 1986. 'When Reason Sleeps' consisted of four stories with supernatural overtones. It was an RTÉ/Strongbow Production in association with Channel 4. 'Fear of the Dark' was written by Robert Wynne-Simmons - John Lynch was the producer. It was first broadcast by RTÉ Television on 26 April 1987; the accompanying RTÉ Guide article was published on 24 April 1987. |
