Irish actor Mick Lally as Miley Byrne records 'The By-Road to Glenroe', in a recording studio in March 1990. Mary McEvoy as Biddy Byrne is first left. This episode was broadcast on 18 March 1990. 'The By-Road to Glenroe' was released as a single and reached number 1 in the Irish charts. 'Glenroe' was a rural soap devised by Wesley Burrowes which ran from 1983-2001. |
