Traditional Irish music group Aileach perform at 'The Embankment' pub in Tallaght, County Dublin, on 15 June 1976. From left to right; Pat McCabe on accordion, Bernard Heany on bodhrán, Dinny McLaughlin on fiddle and Brian McRory on banjo. Concerts at this venue were recorded and broadcast by RTÉ Television as the 12-week series 'At the Embankment'. The programmes featuring Aileach was the first in the series and was broadcast on 1 October 1976. The accompanying RTÉ Guide article was published on 24 September 1976. |
