The outgoing Chairman of the RTÉ Authority John Sorohan (second left), is presented with a Waterford Crystal cut glass clock by the Manager of the RTÉ Television Outside Broadcast Department Denis Hegarty, on behalf of that department's staff, on the occasion of Sorohan's retirement from RTÉ, in Dublin's Burlington Hotel on 1 June 1995. Also in shot are Sorohan's wife Jenny (first left) and Mary Callanan, Secretary in Outside Broadcasts. This still was published in the RTÉ staff magazine 'Access' on 29 June 1995. |
