Irish folk/traditional group The Morrisseys, on stage at Dublin's National Stadium in September 1983. From left to right; Billy Morrissey (banjo), Louise Morrissey (guitar and vocals) and Norman Morrissey (bass guitar). This concert was recorded and televised as part of RTÉ Television's 'Festival Folk' series on 18 January 1984. 'Festival Folk' broadcast a series of concerts from the National Stadium featuring well-known folk singers and musicians. The first episode in this series was broadcast on 11 January 1984 with the RTÉ Guide publishing a preview on 6 January 1984. |
