| Description | RTÉ Radio producer Ann-Marie Power with Cardinal Cahal Daly, in the reception area of the RTÉ Radio Centre in January 1999. Cardinal Daly was in RTÉ to record an episode in the RTÉ Radio 1 series 'A Giant at My Shoulder', on which Ann-Marie Power was the researcher. This was a 52-part series for the millennium in which fifty-two prominent Irish people discussed the person, living or dead, who had the most influence on their lives. Cahal Daly nominated Pope John Paul II for his programme, broadcast on 2 April 1999. | |
