Songwriters Seán Ó Coisdealbha (left) and Helen Uí Dhúnaird, the winners of the 'Réalta '97' song competition with 'Uaigneas', with runner-up Seán Monaghan in RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta's studios in Casla, Connemara, County Galway, on 22 November 1996. The winners of 'Réalta '97', which was run by RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, went on to compete in the final of 'Eurosong '97' in March of that year. A brief report on this win appeared in the RTÉ staff magazine 'Access' on 19 December 1996. |
