Broadcaster Jon Snow and panellists on a special edition of Channel 4's 'Right to Reply', broadcast from RTÉ Television's studios in Donnybrook, Dublin, on 15 January 1994. This edition of the show was a Channel 4/RTÉ co-production made to mark the Irish government's lifting of the Section 31 broadcasting ban on Sinn Féin. From left to right; David Lloyd, Channel 4 News and Current Affairs Commissioning Editor, RTÉ Director of Corporate Affairs Bob Collins, Jon Snow, former British Minister of State for Northern Ireland Michael Mates and Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) politician Ken Maginnis. The RTÉ staff magazine 'Access' published a brief article on this edition of 'Right to Reply' in its issue of 10 February 1994. |
