Irish actress/RTÉ Radio producer Colette Proctor, photographed for the RTÉ staff magazine 'Access' in January 1994. She had played the part of Maurain the RTÉ Radio 1 play 'The Final Whistle', written by Bernard Farrell, and first broadcast by RTÉ on 31 December 1991. 'The Final Whistle' was voted 1993's Best Radio Play on BBC Radio 4's 'Pick of the Year', and was the first complete radio drama bought by the BBC from RTÉ. It was also RTÉ's entry in the 1992 Prix Italia. 'Access' published an article about it in its issue of 10 February 1994. |
