Irish actor Niall O'Brien as Malachy O'Leary in a scene from the RTÉ Television drama series 'Famine', during location filming in Ballysmuttan, County Wicklow, in November 1972. 'Famine' was adapted for television by Tom Murphy from his stage play of the same name. It was broadcast in three parts on RTÉ Television from St Patrick's Day 1973. The RTÉ Guide published a series preview on 16 March 1973. |
