| Description |
Fianna Fáil TD Donogh O'Malley in August 1964. He was parliamentary secretary to the Minister for Finance at the time. This still was taken during a shoot of Dáil Éireann TDs, for use in RTÉ News bulletins. Donogh O'Malley was first elected to the Dáil for the constituency of Limerick East in 1954. He served as Minster for Health (1965-66) and Minister for Education (1966-68). He is credited with introducing free secondary school education in Ireland. |
