| Description |
The five Met Éireann meteorologists who presented weather updates on RTÉ Television, photographed for the RTÉ Guide in their office at 44 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin city, in November 1971. On the extreme left is George Callaghan (who presented the first weather bulletins on Telefís Éireann). On the extreme right is Paddy MacHugh. The other meteorologists are Denis Fitzgerald, Seamus Miller and Michael Gilligan. A still from this shoot accompanied a brief RTÉ Guide article published on 14 January 1972. |
