| Description |
A dancer and musicians on stage during the Fleá Nua in the National Stadium, Dublin, photographed for the RTÉ Guide in early June 1972. This event featured competitors who had been scheduled to take part in a deferred concert featuring prizewinners from the 1971 Fleadh Cheoil. RTÉ Television recorded extracts from this event and broadcast them as 'Ceolchoirm na mBuaiteoirí 1971' on 1 July 1972. It was the first of a series of programmes of Irish traditional music broadcast by RTÉ Television at this time; the Guide previewed these shows on 30 June 1972. |
