Irish composer Dr AJ (Archie) Potter, photographed for the RTÉ Guide in September 1970. This still accompanied a Guide preview of his RTÉ Radio series, 'The Consumer's Guide to Music', published on 9 October 1970. The first episode was broadcast on 13 October 1970. AJ Potter taught singing and composition at the Royal Irish Academy of Music from 1952 to 1973. He composed for both the Radio Éireann Light Orchestra and the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra. |
