An unidentified couple who participated in the Telefís Éireann (RTÉ Television) ballroom dancing competition, 'Shall We Dance?', in Studio 1 in December 1962. They were probably finalists or possibly semi-finalists. The final of this competition was broadcast on Telefís Éireann on 13 December 1962. A still from this shoot accompanied a very brief follow-up article published in the RTV (RTÉ) Guide on 21 December 1962. The first programme in this series of 'Shall We Dance?' was broadcast on 11 October 1962. |
