Description |
The Irish delegation from the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest arrive back at Dublin Airport following the competition, which was held in Brighton, England, on 6 April 1974. From left to right; backing singers Pat Reilly and John Curran, Ireland's representative Tina (Philomena Quinn), backing singer Anne Bushnell, RTÉ Television producer Tom McGrath and RTÉ Television commentator Mike Murphy (with moustache). Ireland was placed seventh of seventeen competing countries in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. RTÉ Television and Radio broadcast the contest live. Stills from this shoot were used to illustrate an RTÉ Guide article on the aftermath of the contest, published on 12 April 1974. The Guide also previewed the contest on 5 April 1974. |
