Judge JC (John Charles) Conroy, photographed for the RTV (RTÉ) Guide, probably in his office in the Circuit Court, Dublin city, in early 1964. Conroy was also Chairman of the Censorship of Publications Board at the time. He appeared on the Telefís Éireann (RTÉ Television) series, 'Press Conference', broadcast on 3 March 1964. A still from this shoot accompanied a Guide programme preview published on 28 February 1964. 'Press Conference' was a weekly series featuring a panel of journalists informally questioning a different public figure each week. |
