May Cluskey as Lily Burke and Chris Curran as Archie Burke, in a scene from the third series of the RTÉ Television sitcom, 'Leave it to Mrs O'Brien', during studio filming in May 1986. The Burkes owned a grocery shop in this sitcom. The first episode in this final 12-part series was broadcast on 21 February 1987; it was previewed in the RTÉ Guide on 20 February 1987. 'Leave it to Mrs O'Brien' ran from 1984 to 1987. It was set in the presbytery of an inner city church in Dublin - Mrs O'Brien was the housekeeper. The first episode was broadcast on 7 November 1984; the RTÉ Guide previewed this first series on 2 November 1984. |
