Irish pop group Sheeba perform in the 17th National Song Contest, the competition to select a song to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest, in RTÉ Television's Studio 1 on 1 March 1981. The group won the competition with 'Horoscopes' and were subsequently placed fifth in that year's Eurovision. From left to right; Maxi, Frances Campbell and Marion Fossett. The RTÉ Guide previewed the 17th National Song Contest entries on 28 February 1981; the contest was broadcast live on RTÉ Television and Radio. |
