RTÉ broadcaster Marian Finucane with a typist colleague in RTÉ in 1979. This still was taken to publicise the RTÉ Radio 1 programme 'Women Today'. The RTÉ Guide published a front cover article about the show in its edition of 6 July 1979. Stills from this shoot were used to illustrate that article. 'Women Today' was broadcast from Monday to Friday each week - it first went on air in 1979. It was presented by Marian Finucane. Marian Finucane presented the RTÉ Radio 1 phone-in show 'Liveline' for many years and is currently presenting a weekend morning radio programme for that station. |
