An exterior view of the Hospital of St Margaret of Cortona at 22-23 Townsend Street, Dublin city, in 1952 or 1953. The intersection of Townsend Street and Luke Street is visible to the right of shot. The Hospital of St Margaret of Cortona was originally named Westmoreland Lock Hospital; the name change occurred in 1946. It primarily treated venereal disease and was closed in 1956. |
