Fine Gael/Independent politician Alice Glenn, Deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin, in 1988. This photo was published in an article in the RTÉ Guide on 8 July 1988. The article featured an interview with Glenn about her personal life and career. Alice Glenn was first elected to the Dáil for Dublin Central in 1981. She ran as an Independent in the 1987 election having resigned from Fine Gael, but was not elected. Glenn is well known as a conservative campaigner on issues such as divorce and abortion. |
