RTÉ broadcaster and sports commentator George Hamilton, pictured at the North Beach, Greystones, County Wicklow, in 2000. A similar photo from this shoot was published in an article in the RTÉ Guide on 9 June 2000. The article featured an interview with Hamilton and his two daughters about their family life. George Hamilton began his career with RTÉ commentating on the 1978 Football World Cup in Argentina, officially joining the station in 1979. |
