The 'Protesting' section from the RTÉ Television 'Centenary' concert, during a dress rehearsal in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin, on 27 March 2016. The actors on stage are dressed as WWI soldiers and in period costume from the 1910s; two are holding a banner on which 'Workers Unite' is written. 'Centenary' was a special show made to mark the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising; it combined live musical and dramatic performance with footage and images. It was broadcast live on RTÉ Television on 28 March 2016. |
