Description |
Singer-songwriter Lesley Roy gives the first television performance of Ireland's 2020 Eurovision Song Contest entry 'Story of My Life' on 'The Late Late Show', 6 March 2020. This proposed 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest was due to take place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. On 18 March 2020, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced that the contest would not take place because of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Roy was to have participated in semi-final 1 on 12 May 2020. Semi-final 2 was to be held on 14 May 2020, with the final taking place on 16 May 2020. |
